Pre-Thanksgiving Storm Update

I think the worst of the storm will be over before the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving travel starts as the storm will likely come late Tuesday through Wednesday during the earlier part of the day, though showers could continue into early Wednesday evening. Again, still waiting for the exact track and timing to work itself out, but I have decent level of confidence that we will have some impact, although the areas to our west will have the heavier impact. Right now, as a preliminary, rough, forecast, I think that 2-5″ is a very reasonable forecast, but a shift in the track will result in change in amounts.

In addition to the storm, we are going enjoy a period of lake effect snow bands throughout November as temperatures will be well below normal temperatures. This snowy pattern should continue into early December.

If you are planning to go out early on Black Friday, it will be very cold, in the upper teens to low twenties.
