Snow Tomorrow and Then for New Years Day

It looks like the 2-4″forecast is going to hold for tomorrow. The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, also forecasting 2-4″ of snow. Most of the snow should fall before lunch tomorrow with occasional lingering showers throughout the day.

Looking ahead, New Year’s Eve appear like it will be free of snow, but it looks like snow will fall New Years Day, with moderate snowfall possible. Right now, it appears that snow will be in the 2-5″ range, but it could be adjusted as we draw closer.

Expect lake effect snow showers later next week into the weekend as seasonable temperatures, or slightly below persist.
