I want to show you an example of what one of the models is showing for snowfall. This is NOT a forecast, it is one run of one weather model. It will take numerous runs of the models to get an idea of where we will end up, but there is support for a major snow storm. This particular model run shows 20-30″ of snow for the Pittsburgh Metro area and 4’+ for the Laurel Highlands.
Even a fraction of this accumulation will be devastating for us. This will be a wet, heavy snow and with so many leaves still on the trees, some people could be without power for weeks. Milk and bread will be understatement.
