Moral of the story: best time to travel for Christmas is Dec. 23 or early Dec. 24.
All of the weather models are showing us having a white Christmas. One model shows and inch or two but a couple of models show over 6″, with one showing over 10″. There is the possibility of a big Christmas eve/Christmas Day Noreaster blazing up the coast. I would suspect if that scenario plays out, the forecast will under play it at first because the news forecasts are based on one main weather model, which always starts off with the storm too far east and then adjusts west as the time draws closer.
The JennCast chances for a white Christmas has increased to an 85% chance for PA, NY, NJ, MA, RI, NH, ME, the higher elevations of WV, and Morgantown, and a 60% chance in Cleveland.
