Last week’s forecast was a bust and I am relieved for my friends along the Susquehanna. However, there is tremendous model support for things to turn cold and we are looking for potential snow this weekend. My preliminary estimate is 1-3″ for the Greater Pittsburgh area with 3-6″ in the mountains. I will issue a final forecast map midweek, but for now, here is one model is showing for 3 hour snow accumulation for the weekend.
I think tomorrow will be the nicest day of the week. Temperatures will hover around the high 50’s and low 60’s but will feel slightly chiller thanks to dampness.
